The TV division of Unifrance is once again joining forces with the French Embassy in China to organize a day-long screening of animation series on October 29, 2021, at the French Institute in Beijing.
These screenings target Chinese buyers and industry professionals. The embassy is preparing a brochure in Mandarin presenting the programs on show, and will send a list of participants to companies selected. Each member can put forward up to four youth animation series (up to 12 years old) that should be mainly French but dubbed in English.
Fifteen member companies have presented a total of 41 programs. Applications are now closed, and the embassy has started screenings via Screenopsis. The final selection will be announced on October 11.
